Summer Camps

As part of Wisconsin United Methodist Camp & Retreat Ministries, we offer many summer camp programsYouth and adults alike will find many enjoyable opportunities here at Pine Lake Camp. 

Pine Lake is also host to our Summer Special Needs CampsThese camps offer a mixture of fun activities and opportunities for spiritual and personal growth. 



Establishing Safe Sanctuaries Policies – Training for Youth Leaders - November 2, 2013 – 9am – 3pm. Youth Leaders - do you need to establish, review or update your safe sanctuaries policy? Join Laura Hutler, Karen Rankin and other adult leaders of youth to network and to learn how we go about making our youth ministries Safe Sanctuaries for kids.


Archives Retreat  -  Eager to participate in a re-enactment of a 19th-century camp meeting? Nostalgic about your early camping days? Interested in learning more about the history of the many camps that have been part of United Methodist heritage in Wisconsin? Need help with your local church’s historic records? If so, come and join others from our Conference as we focus on the history of camps and camp meetings in Wisconsin and also offer a workshop for local-church historians.

Prime Timers Retreat provides an opportunity for older adults to live the good news of Jesus Christ together with others in a special setting. Prime Timers Retreat gives time for the participants to reflect on experiences with God, God’s world, and each other. A flexible schedule with optional activities, allowing everyone to participate as they wish, or are able. Worship, study, discussions, recreation, and fellowship are included in the program.  April 8-12, 2014

The 5-Day Academy of Spiritual Formation (sponsored jointly by the Upper Room and our team) is scheduled for July 8–12 at Pine Lake. Registration is available now through at

Stewarship Retreat Seventh annual Stewardship Retreat at Pine Lake Camp, August 14-15. This retreat is co-sponsored by the Wisconsin United Methodist Foundation, the Board of Camp and Retreat Ministries, and the Stewardship Resource Team of the annual conference.  For a full list of workshops, see the Foundation website after April 1st.
